"There is no dance?"

a report on the Shri Adi Shakti Puja 2008 weekend:

Back from Cabella, it seems we all have been awakened to another dimension. It was all very special indeed. On Friday night, when we arrived after a 24 hours journey by coach, the artistic program had already started. After the last performance of an indian dance by a very talented yogini, the moderator went on the stage to anounce the next item, a beautiful movie from Dharamshala school, when he received a phonecall from the Castle, someone telling him that Shri Mataji has expressed concern because nobody was dancing. ''There is no dance?'' She said. Imagine the surprise on our faces at the hearing of this news.
A qawalli group was formed in the most spontaneous way, and we danced till close to 4 in the morning with such joy, never before experienced in Cabella.

It rained every day but nobody seemed to care. Besides, we noticed whenever the food was ready and it was time for people to kew [queue], the rain would stop, and start again after it was finished. Incredible.

On Sunday, we got dressed in saris and at 5pm were sitting in the hangar, when Majid, the leader of France announced at the microphone that Shri Mataji said She would come soon and we should meditate. Then he led a beautiful meditation and the necessary atmosphere for puja was created. Shri Mataji came at around 8.15pm and She stayed with us for one and a half hours. Everything went on very smoothly. The Aarti was sung by everyone in one single voice. Even Bolo Shri Bhagavati Mataji Shri Adi Shakti Mataji Shri Nirmala Devi Ki Jai!, the last bit at the end, we carried on singing together in one voice. A beautiful feeling of intimacy between Shri Mataji and us could be felt. There was such profound peace never experienced before as a collective, as a whole. When we did namaskar, one could literally feel that the whole work, everything that really matters for this world has already been done and nothing, absolutely nothing will be difficult for us to do starting from now. All we have to do from now is to go with the flow, to let ourselves be carried by the course of the Universe for otherwise we can become real obstacles to Her beautiful work.

When Shri Mataji was back at the Castle, She said "this was a wonderful puja". Again people danced with joy till early hours in the morning. There was peace and satisfaction on the face of everyone, and nothing was left to say for words were too small to express it.

Thank you Shri Mataji, for taking us to the Kingdom of Peace, Joy and Love, to the Kingdom of God Almighty. (Liliana B)
