Cows and their milk
I remember just after my realization in 1985 I worked in a dairy co-op and my job was with farmers to develop specialized intensive milk production in farms of the co-op. I then realized that cows were like milk machines and I asked Shri Mataji if that way of production would be in conformity with the desire of God or whether it should come back to "rustic" animals producing moderate amount of milk and also meat.
Shri Mataji answered that cows are there to serve human beings and it is normal they are selected to produce a lot of milk for us. But She said we should avoid eating their meat because their cells are bigger than those of human beings and we cannot digest them properly. It could cause problems to gums and teeth. So it is better to have dairy breeds than meat bovine breeds. (Louis Marie)

The Sunflowers at Pratisthan
Comments by H.H.Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi:In Sahaja Yoga, you take the ordinary seeds and you vibrate them. If you vibrate them, then what happens that you start getting seeds which are even better than hybrid. I tried an experiment with a sunflower; so I developed a sunflower about 2 kilo weight, about one foot diameter and such big, big seeds, that you can’t make them out to be sunflower seeds, so the collective was so amazed at it and they felt that this kind of seed will solve all of our oil problem.

Material development is much faster and in balance when you get Self Realization. These vibrations help agriculture very much. We have a scientist, Dr. Hamid, in Austria, who has experimented with vibrations and has found out that even non-hybrid seeds give you greater than hybrid seeds. In my own field I sowed about 60 kilos of rice in one acre of land. And they told me: “It’s a special rice. It won’t grow here.” But it turned out to be 1700 kilos. One of the best rices. And even the sunflower was so big, two feet diameter. You could not lift; one person could not lift. Giving oil six to ten times more!

If people are saintly they will be always protected by Mother Earth. She will always try to give them whatever they want. You can see in the minute way, that supposing now, in our Cabella here, the roses are of such a big size, such a big size roses, you won’t find such big size in the whole world but we have here, such big ones. In Pratisthan we had flowers of sunflower so big as that. One man could not lift it. Now, how is it all this is happening in particular places? It is the Mother Earth who knows who is living here, who is walking on Her back we should say, or on Her soil, because Mother Earth understands vibrations.

Effect of Vibrated Water on Plants
"The first study was made to test the effect of vibrated water on different sorts of plants and it started on May 27, 1986. The experiment was conducted on a 300sqm piece of land with the foundations of a building nearby. This small farm is situated about 15km east of Vienna, Austria. We were able to use the electricity supply from this building to construct an automatic watering system.
The weather data were provided by the weather observation station in Enzesfeld, the local town nearby. It was a rainy summer with an average rainfall of 54mm during the test period. The average temperature during the test period was 24.5 Centigrade and there was a quite strong north-west wind blowing in this area which dries the soil very rapidly.
The soil type was brown earth, ie. sandy, with clay and loam. Because the test area was set up late in the year, it was heavily overgrown with annual and perennial weeds. Thedrefore the field was sprayed with Gesparim on May 25, 1986. As we began late it was not possible to apply any sort of fertilization.
The test area was divided into four strips, each 4m x 20m = 80sqm in size. Each strip was subdivided into four plots, each 4 x 5m = 20sqm. We selected sunflowers and corn, next to other typical plants of this area to be used for this experiment.
The drip-irrigation system of the Salen company in Vienna was chosen. Normal drinking water was brought from the building to the field through an one-inch hose to which 3 half-inch hoses were connected. In order to cut out the possibility of human error, the irrigation equipment was fully automatic with the help of one seven-day timer, two 24 hour timers and three magnetic valves.
Seven days after setting up the test area, on June 4, 1986, the irrigation was put to operation. The test area (vibrated and unvibrated strips) was irrigated for one and a half hours from 1am to 2.30am every night. After 30 days the irrigation was reduced to once a week, again for one and a half hours. On October 26, 1986, the irrigation was suspended.
Results: The vibrated plants were greener, more vital and showed significant lead in their growth over the non-vibrated plants. The vibrated water not only activates the growth of the plants, it also enlarges and improves the sprouting-potential of the seeds. For example, the sprouting ratio of sunflowers rates normally between 75% and 80% Through the use of vibrated water the ratio was increased to 95-100%.
Because of the high germination ration and the strong growth of the plants in the vibrated part of the test area you can well imagine that this caused a severe competition for space, water and light. Such strong competition normally inhibits the growth of plants, but despite the mentioned density of the vibrated area, its harvest was 20-25% better than the control plots."

"After having had great success with the experiment on vibrated water and its effect on different sorts of plants, we felt encouraged to start a new experiment with vibrated water, this time to research its effect on animals. After all, the plant, animal and human kingdoms are made up from the same elements to begin with, originating all from the Mother Earth.
To implement this idea we made a test with a group of pigs to study the effect of vibrated water on the animals' weight-increase. For this experiment we chose a farm in Austria for pig-breeding and pig-fattening. ... The automated drinking-system supplied to one of the stalls vibrated water, the other two stalls were supplied with normal drinking water.
Result: The test group of pigs being supplied with vibrated water shows about 15% weight gain to the other two control groups. From this result it was clear, that vibrated water has a very positive influence on the weight gain of animals."
